Department of Finance is dedicated to providing students with a quality finance education to facilitate career opportunities in corporate finance, investments, banking, and international finance. Students develop a set of core competencies that include the ability to analyze financial data, make inferences about a firm's financial performance, determine the value of a firm and its assets and liabilities, understand how domestic and international financial markets affect a firm's operations, and assist managers deciding how to allocate scarce resources. The program also provides the foundation for graduate MBA programs.
